Zoe Saldana (born June 19, 1978) was the daughter of Asalia Saldana & Aridio Saldana in Passaic New Jersey. She was born in New Jersey's Passaic to Asalia Nazario and aridio Saldana. Her mother is from Puerto Rico and her father is Dominican. In 2010, she moved with her family to the Dominican Republic where they spent the next 7 years. Zoe's interest in dance was piqued while they were in the Dominican Republic. Zoe started her dance education through ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy. Training was not only an excellent outlet for this energetic and passionate young lady, but was also an excellent training for her future acting profession. Zoe's parents relocated to United States when Zoe was 17 years old. Her love for dancing and a desire to be on stage increased. Deutch worked with Silberman for Set It Up, Netflix's Set It Up 2018 hit.
